Charlie the Chicken Rattle
Charlie the Chicken always wanted to fly. He didn’t understand why chickens had such beautiful wings but couldn’t use them. Puzzling also was that Charlie was blessed with such long, soft, slender legs. ‘What purpose do these serve?’ he often wondered. One day, peering through Clancy the Cowgirl’s window, he glimpsed the Olympic hammer throw final on TV & it came to him ... if Charlie could find a little human with a firm enough grip to adopt him, he might finally know what it felt like to soar through the skies!
Unlike squeakers, which are unintuitive for babies to use without assistance, the gentle sound the rattle makes when babies hold or move it stimulates action-reaction learning, providing babies & toddlers with an instant reward & helping them to understand cause & effect.
